Another thing I stress is to make sure they change their oil regularly.  Failing to do that is sometimes the root cause of why my clients fail in my San Diego smog check service shop.But if they are diligent in making sure to do this one thing, their car will be in better shape.On top of that, when you have an engine that is well oiled, it lasts longer.

Finally the brakes are a part of your car that is overlooked so often.  This is one part of the car that is always used but often overlooked.  Whenever a customer of mine brings in a car to my San Diego brake service it is sometimes one of the most expensive repairs.So I make it a point that they understand what needs to be done to take better care of it.Doing some simple thins like maintaining the right fluid levels will help.
